Takeover Day
Children's Commissioner's Takeover Day 2012 will take place on Friday 23 November. Now in its sixth year, the day offers children and young people across the country the chance to work with adults on decision-making. Organisations benefit from gaining new ideas, insight and creativity, as well as the chance to show their commitment to listening to children and young people.

New Wine & Children
New Wine partners with kids' leaders and workers to see them empowered and inspired to lead renewed kids' ministry that encourages a Spirit-filled encounter with Jesus.

Worship Workshop
The WorshipWorkshop website has a downloadable Prayer Track to help children write intercessions. It’s available here: http://www.worshipworkshop.org.uk/resources/ (but you need to be logged in to download it). There are also prayers and readings which could be used during the Paralympics.

Passion Play
Holy Trinity Church, South Woodham Ferrers is looking for people who would like to take part in this incredible event.  We need people of all ages to be involved in prayer and worship, administration and technical roles, as well as people who would like to act (no experience necessary).  We will use your gifts and talents to share God’s love with the community.

A meeting is being held on 18th September, 8pm at Holy Trinity Church, South Woodham Ferrers CM3 5JX

The themes of Christingle: serving other people, thinking about children in difficult situations, celebrating light in the darkness, creativity and redemption - and food, all work beautifully with Messy Church's emphasis on hospitality, creativity and celebration.
